DOS / 1993 / 1994 CD edition
Star Wars: X-Wing
Collector’s CD-ROM
I played this one a ton. I remember getting a joystick too.

Still waiting? Large games take longer on a slow connection. You can stop and try again. Open the player in its own tab.
Getting started
The original opening sequence plays first. Give it a few minutes to reach pilot registration.
- Type a pilot name or select one from the list. Click the door on the left to enter the concourse, then choose Pilot Proving Ground for training. Pick your craft and level, then click the door on the right to enter the course. Backspace sets full throttle in the cockpit.
- Mouse and keyboard are recommended here. A physical joystick has not been verified with this browser version.
Click inside the game to give it keyboard focus. Full screen gives you more room; Escape leaves full screen.
Before you settle in
These games were made for a keyboard and mouse. A laptop or desktop is the best way to play; the DOS player also has an on-screen keyboard.
Use the game’s own Save menu where available, then the player’s Save control to keep the disk changes in this browser. Stopping closes the emulator; unsaved progress is lost.
